Romo's got another weapon and some added protection up front, so I guess you can say we're trending towards being a "Romo friendly" offense.

Time for some NBA action to take my mind off the ongoing train wreck in Dallas.

Dude, you can't justify this pick.

Well, that's the second straight Cowboys pick to say he was surprised to get the call

Escobar is fine as a player. And I don't think he's a reach there. But GOD DAMN we have so many f'n holes that we can't afford luxury picks like this. Especially not this high when there are players available that fit the slot and our NEED.

This guy better be worth it.

I think he's going to be a much better weapon in the redzone than Bennett ever would have been.

So we've given up on Hanna after one season?

A season in which he showed promise even though he played limited snaps?

You don't draft 2nd rounders to sit on the bench for years, so this team basically just admitted that they are throwing away their 6th round pick from last year.

No other team intentionally wastes picks like Dallas does.

This m'fer better be able to run the shit out of the TE-fall down play.

I'd make him run that play 50 times on his Pro Day before drafting him

Hell, the SF pick hasn't even been announced yet and La Canfora has tweeted the Dolphins pick.

And what about Hanna? Do we just cut him now?

If Witten plays an elite level for 4 more years, and Hanna gets even better, we're going to just send Hanna packing so we can justify taking this guy in the 2nd round?

Because you don't take guys in the 2nd round unless you intend for them to be part of your future at his position.

Ciscowski just dug a booger out on camera.

Nice topper to our draft day experience so far.

This just tells me they are committed to more 2 TE sets. With Hannah maturing and no Escobar they can do it for a full game.

Jerruh's gonna call Cincy right now and ask, "how about that 1st rounder for a TE?"
