The sobering thing here is that while we all know the right thing is to take Sylvester Williams if he is available at 31, the sad fact is we've been caught flatfooted all offseason.

Sylvester Williams would be good because he represents building the lines. A step in the right direction. The bad news is, he doesn't fix our main problem from last year. He mostly fixes a hole we created by changing defenses.

This team isn't going to be a damn bit better than 8-8 again.

Really? Who is your starting 3-4 D-line next year if we didn't switch defenses? Ratliff/Hatcher and ...

From my calculations that would make our D-line need even bigger.
