As an aside...if Philly found a way to get Manziel we might not beat them again.

Manziel will be an epic bust in the NFL.

I thought so as well but I'm starting to buy in.

The one thing I worry about is that he's got to learn how to slide. Right now he's worse than RGIII was last year. Manziel takes a ton of unnecessary hits and he's not that big.

He does look like a scrawny little shit. But he seems to avoid taking hits.

Manziel has improved 100% as a passer he is now actually reading a defense, he is still a little skittish in the pocket but he is a legitimate NFL QB prospect.

I still don't see him as ever being a pure pocket passer, but he looks like a little better Russell Wilson.

His mechanics look 100% better which shows he will work at improving.

You guys do realize that this is the offense that others have put up a bazillion yards in before, right?

I'm not saying that the dude isn't physically gifted but I'd tempter my expectations a bit.

Im honestly torn over this dude. It is a total boom or bust deal.

I'm only torn over him because I know Romo will never get it done and this is our best chance to replace him in the foreseeable future. If Manziel could be a non-choking version of Romo I'd be all for it. But I'm not sure how his play will translate to the NFL. And it concerns me with the number of passes he just seems to throw up for grabs that have been completed that would likely be turnovers in the pro's. I want to replace Romo, but obviously only with someone that can take us to the next level. Not sold Manziel is that guy.

QBs who bring their college game to the NFL like Vick and Griffin rarely last long before they start to incur serious injuries. The problem with them is somewhat paradoxical. They play too hard and cannot seem to overcome their instincts to do so. Manziel is of this breed and it will be hard for him to quell his competitive nature. I don't think Griffin will last two more years until he follows Vick to the bench.

I agree. He reminds me of RGIII in 2011.

I am the 1st to be skeptical about spread QB's but unlike most he has the intangibles that I think elevate him and unlike in the past the NFL is not asking every QB to be a pure pocket passer.

I still would not take him until the bottom half of the 1st and would not try and start him immediately.

Not many guys are going to be running wide open in the nfl. There aren't going to be tons of jump balls either.

All of those prayers that Manziel made look like magic aren't going to work either.

BTW, if FSU wins tonight I will be completely insufferable.

If they lose, I will pretend it didn't happen.

Clowney is not even trying now...just standing up after the snap.

I wonder if he's just retarded because he's ruining his reputation by acting like this. I'd hesitate to draft the guy honestly.

If we have to take a TE high again I hope it's Jace Amaro.

3 TE offense

Spurrier absolutely mishandled the end of that ball game. Completely inexcusable.
