I probably know more about Maryland recruiting random 3 stars or less than most of you do about your teams recruiting but I'm not actually a fan, real talk bros.

The Sumlin years were fun and I went to a few games, and it would've been cool to see them get to an important bowl game in 2011, but they blew it in the end to fricking Southern Miss......at home, no less.

Beating Okie State when they were ranked 5th in that nation then turning around and beating Tech in dramatic fashion in 2009 were the high points in my time as a fan of the team, but I've been a Longhorns fan since I was a kid and that is and always will be my #1 team.

Can't help it.

No because you incorrectly assumed that I turned my back on Maryland.

But at any rate, I'll stop this bs talk now so Deuce can celebrate this impending victory.
 
You know, I'm a super proud Texas person.....the type that Sponge Bob made fun, to be honest. :lol

For that reason, I support almost all things Texas and actually root for Texas schools that most people won't. I like seeing the Aggies lose, but I don't hate it when they win.

While it was a heart breaker to lose to Tech in 2008, I actually pulled for them to continue on undefeated after that.

I was very happy for TCU when they won the Rose Bowl, especially with them being from home and all.

The Longhorns are just the team I began liking in junior high and just stuck with them.

I'll actually pull for all Texas sports teams sans the Texans and Spurs, but the Cowboys and Longhorns will always be #1 no matter what. And in the case of NFL football, there is no #2. If the Cowboys cease to exist or if I just decide that Cowboys football isn't that interesting to me because of Jerry and his bullshit, I'd just focus my attention on something else.

I could never ever cheer for another NFL team.
