For us Fubo is so much cheaper than we were paying for Dish. Just found that Dish/Direct TV/Cable was not worth paying $50 more for. I lose out on TNT and TBS but I gain Ballys SW. I can live with that.
Same here, I had DirecTv for almost 25 years but it just got too expensive. Didn't help that ATT ruined their customer service. Like you guys, I guess, I chose Fubo because it was best for sports.

Just saying, the ads and influencers are all, "Cut the cord and upgrade to streaming!" It's not an upgrade. It's a lot cheaper and it's good enough, but it's not better. I hate the spinning pie plate of death every time I FF or rewind through a recording, but I live with it.

This is why I can't "cut the cord". My internet out in the country is spotty at best. Sucks.

In in town and have cable internet where my speeds are fine and it still does that. Very frustrating.

Honestly now that I think about it we really only have Fubo because of the NFL season now. I used to watch more shows on local channels but have lost interest in most of what ABC, NBC, or CBS have to offer. We have other apps that we watch more often. We probably pay the same for our TV entertainment as we did with just Dish. We just have more options.

Yeah I'm a Youtube TV customer but the truth is my wife rarely watches it. She has her Netflix and Hulu that she generally watches. I mostly watch Youtube TV for the NFL Network, Sports and stuff like that. It's why I no longer have satellite and echo that Directv had become a nightmare to deal with. Nothing special about cord cutting, TV in general has just sort of become shit and not overly worth it. The streaming usually works pretty well for me but my internet kind of sucks right now. While I live on a golf course and have neighbors with cable internet the cable company won't run a line to my house without me paying $10,000 for them to do so. So I live with Tmobile whole home internet which is ok but sometimes runs slow.

I'm on the waiting list for Starlink. I have hopes for their internet. I can certainly afford to have the cable ran to my house, just kind of pisses me off that they want that much money for me to pay for their infrastructure which the government already gives them money for.

Wife was thinking about the Tmobile thing. I will pass along this info because buffering really annoys the shit out of her.

Growing up we moved to a new housing division and the cable company did the same thing when we tried to get cable there. They wouldn't dig the line to our house that was roughly 20ft away. My brother and I dug it on our own.

Yeah I think part of the problem is living in Lake Ozark our cell phone towers I just don't think are set up to handle the capacity required on a busy weekend. The full time population here isn't huge but during the summer it gets insane with the out of town visitors and vacation home owners and I think it just overwhelms the system.
