But beyond that, he doesn't actually care if his way will work. It will be his way regardless of if it works. He "wants" it to work but that's not the most important thing to him. Being in charge is the most important thing. Even if it doesn't work he never wants to not be in charge.

If you gave him a crystal ball and showed him with 100% certainty that he never will win a super bowl his way and the only way to change the future is if someone else was in charge, he still wouldn't change anything.

We are all hostages to that as fans and that makes it incredibly frustrating to continue to root for them.

I also think he is just delusional enough to think that things are supposed to just happen. Like he literally has just been lucky his whole life and thinks it just works that way.
 
I would say Jones has failed pretty stunningly over his tenure as GM of this franchise. 5 good years, 28 barren years .

Nope. He is just making it easier to justify it. I will never like a player that plays for the rivals while they are playing there. Team hate is still alive in my mind.

This is the difference between making aggressive moves and not. You want to win something of significance you're going to need to make real moves to add talent. If you want to be a first or second round playoff team just keep doing what you are doing.

I hate the Eagles, too...but can't expect our players to.

It's just a job for them, we're the fans.
 
Romo learned he had to basically take over and improvise or Garrett's all stop offense would always get stuck.

Amari gets it there. Guess Dak hasn't yet or doesn't have the same capabilities.

I don't even want to watch that interview. That kid was that irrelevant. Nothing he can say will make that nothing season go away.
