And religion is a big deal to some of these folks.

I guess that is about what his angle is going to have to be now that the NIL market makes his schtick won't work when some poor ass kid is staring at big money.
 
I didn't think much of it when I saw this clip. Dabo's just covering all his bases.

I don't believe he's naive enough to assume playing the religious card will trump cold hard cash. It may for a small minority but most blue chip players are going to follow the money.
 
This is so dumb. Essentially it's only a one year extension with a million dollar per year raise.

But are the standards and expectations really that low with TT football that a 7-5 season warrants a new contract?

 
I hope the confidence factor of a new contract shows up tonight in their bowl game. The big 12 are zip on post season victories.
 
In the TTU bowl game, Tech took the delay of game on their first play of the game in memory of Leach. Ole Miss declined it. That was some tear-invoking shit.

Not only taking the delay of game but the linemen were in the wide splits that Leach used.
