Ugh. Just when I thought I was rid of the Buckeyes.

Could very well be AL, OSU, MI and GA now. These conference champ games are ruining a lot of dreams.

It could also keep TCU at #3 because they have the same number of losses as OSU but from an extra game, rather than having their asses handed to them at home in the regular season, and one fewer loss than Alabama.

Honestly, I don’t believe that any undefeated team that loses in its conference championship game should lose a spot to another team that never even played in theirs, especially if/when they end up with the same number of (or fewer) losses than the teams on the outside looking in. Penalizing a team for being successful seems weird to me.

Karma? Did he say what he thought OU did wrong to "deserve" a bad year?
He didn't say specifically but I assume he was butt hurt that OU fans were being big meanies to Lincoln Riley.

I guess we were supposed to pat him on the back and congratulate him for using OU's time and money to recruit for USC. And for raiding OU's staff & roster to fill out USC's. :shrug

This wouldn't even be a debate if it were OU or Texas in that situation instead of TCU.

They'll never admit it but program prestige weighs heavily in these decisions. They're trying to sell tickets and get massive TV ratings.

Reminds me of the scene in Breakfast Club where the popular chick (Claire) tells the dorky dude (Brian) that she probably wouldn't be his friend in the hall if they ran into each other. :lol

Claire Standish: Why? 'Cause I'm telling the truth, that makes me a bitch?

John Bender: NO. 'Cause you know how shitty that is to do someone, and you don't got the balls to stand up to your friends and tell them you're gonna like who you wanna like.

But, you're right.

Michigan is about to start leaning on Purdue.

Everybody knows Alabama would whip TCU on the field but it's gonna look bad if they boot TCU for them.

On the flip side, Georgia/Alabama and Michigan/OSU in the semifinal might be too much for them to pass up.

And there's no chance TCU is ranked 3rd, they'll be 4th at best.

HAIL!!!

Back-to-Back B1G Championships! Next stop, Glendale!

I wouldn’t be dead set on that. Their loss is much more attractive than the curb stomping those fucking despicable pieces of shit at Ohio State ate at the hands of my beloved Wolverines. TCU lost in the conference championship game by 3 points in OT. Ohio State got the living shit beaten out of them at home, and never even qualified to play in their conference championship.

If we want to pretend like the regular season is some type of a playoff where every game matters we sure as shit shouldn't be jumping a 2 loss team over a 1 loss team. Especially a 2 loss team that didn't even make their conference championship.

Alabama getting in is why the expanded playoffs are needed. Sure Alabama will be in every year but at least teams like TCU won't get screwed out of a chance because of it.

I assume his son will follow and they will kill it in the transfer portal. For a team I don't follow I'm excited to see how it turns out.
Well, since it has been so long since they were in the Big 12 conference, I could easily be a Buffaloes fan.
