If we truly knew we would go for it on 4th down on 2nd/3rd, it's absolutely ridiculous that we didn't run it on 3rd, perhaps even a designed Dak run.

With that said, I don't want to harp too much on the offense or the refs when the real issue is the run defense.

I’d buy some of that, but McCarthy had the playsheet in his hand last night in the 4th qtr. Was he calling the plays?
Bottom line is I saw a lot of passes last night at the receivers feet and over their heads-that’s on Dak and I think it isn’t going to get any better.
We also have Jack and Shit at WR. Gallup clearly isn’t back, and CeeDee is not a disciplined route runner. We lack a legitimate speed WR who can pull the top off a defense, even if it’s just one time. No one respects our deep passing game, because there isn’t one.

Who knows what everyone is supposed to do but Gallup looks like he's running a clearout, he's not running full out and is barely looking back. Sure looks like if Pollard goes to the middle, it's wide open and an easier throw for Dak.

But maybe Pollard was doing his job, who knows.

No matter what happens at HC (retaining McCarthy, promoting Quinn, hiring Payton) I think Moore has to go. We need a completely fresh perspective on offense that has no ties whatsoever to Garrett.
