2022 Season | Week 10 | Gameday Chatter Thread | Cowboys @ Packers | 11/13/2022

We need every NFC competitor to lose whenever possible.
Honestly at this point who gives a shit and what would it matter anyhow? This team shows you the same shit every year. They get you thinking they can play with anyone then they have games like this that shows you otherwise. If they were even to make the playoffs they will lose the first game because they can’t stop the run and the offense has too many hope plays at the wrong time. We will never see a NFC Championship while we are alive as long as the jones’ still own this team. From the way they are structured to how they play and the way the refs intentionally try to keep them from winning a game. I hate Goodell, but you can thank Jerry for his lone vote against and all the shit he started with Goodell over the years because the NFL will make sure Dallas doesn’t win. To have that on top of how shitty this organization is Dan is a telling sign. Time for another hobby.

This is true although the mentality on defense needs to change.

They're like an offense that just wants to pass, pass, pass with running the ball as an afterthought. They want the glitzy plays and stats but don't focus enough on the importance of the run (or stopping it) and how staying balanced with the run (or forcing offenses to be imbalanced) is what leads to those big plays and glossy stats.

What I don't like about Ezekiel Elliott sidelined is possibly favoring more passes because they don't trust Davis to handle a heavier workload.

Davis had 5 rushes, but Ezekiel may have been trusted with 10 rushes (assume Pollard had same 22 carries). Might've tangibly materialized on our final OT series so we didn't have two straight passes on 3rd 3 and 4th 3.

I wonder how many times this kind of defeatist post has been posted here over the last 15 years.

By posters current, quit and banned, I'm guessing at least 66 times.

Maybe it's therapeutic to attack the keyboard with long posts, but really we could just post a phrase like "Order 66" and everyone would nod their head with understanding.

When Dak threw his retarded 4th down pass in OT, I turned the game off and went out to my shop. I knew these gutless fucks, led by a clueless fuck named Jerry Jones weren’t winning the game. It’s the same. Shit. Every. Year.
It’s laughable to even use the word “playoffs” in this forum. We can’t stop the run, and we lack dynamic WRs on offense. We also lack a QB who can win when everything goes to shit.
I’m over it. Fuck this band of losers.

Coming in late so sorry if this has been addressed already.

Who the fuck made the decision to keep Parsons off the line of scrimmage today? Why was he in coverage for most of the game??

The long and short of it is nobody is going to be even close to satisfied until we at least make an NFCC. It's a terrible mindset to have because you can't blame any given season's team for 27 years of disappointment but it's impossible not to overreact to the negative given what's happened with this team over nearly 30 years.

Our running game was fine. We didn’t need Fatass Elliott and don’t need him going forward.

Oh shit. Greenlaw got ejected for that hit on Justin Herbert?

Ridiculous

Justin Herbert chose not to QB slide so he's a runner like anyone else, according to the rules.

If a WR, TE or RB had been tackled, that's not even a penalty, let alone ejection.

.....haha, and NFL office makes statement that the ejection would've been called the same if non-QB. Okay, then half the defense should be ejected every game.

:lol So adorable to see how Mack gently laid Garoppolo on the ground.

Love the NFL in 2022.

This is the kind of competition Germany has been missing until now.

So Dak had 46 attempts today, in a game we were mostly leading.

What happened to we're keeping the mindset we had when Rush was in there? Remember those long ago days, like three games ago?

Something with this whole system is screwed up. We're letting the defense dictate what they want us to do. This goes back to Romo and Garrett, although eventually Romo basically did what he wanted to.

I really really hate that Jerry insisted that McCarthy had to keep the system, keep Moore, and keep Dak from learning something new. Sickening, really.

Moore should've been gone after last season, he's been ok since we basically put the training wheels on the offense and went run heavy, but he isn't the guy.

Just hire whoever from the Shannahan/McVay tree to call plays, or do whatever Payton wants if he ends up being hired.

I'm just going to assume that the knee-slapper guy on Twitter is distraught
