Beto spent $70 million from what I read.
I think he actually got more money than Abbott to campaign with.

PIcking up 30+ seats in the House in one election is unprecedented. I have never seen a swing that large. Couple that with gaining 13 seats in 2020 and it is a huge gain in that house.I wouldn't call it a red wave. but I don't care.
Just win the House and Senate and I'll be happy either way.
And he still got his butt handed to him.I think he actually got more money than Abbott to campaign with.
It is nutso.Almost 24 hours after the polls closed there are still 50 uncalled races just in Congress. That's fucking ridiculous.
And trans kids rightsAnd he still got his butt handed to him.
Candidate quality matters and Abbott ran a very good campaign, focused on the handful of key issues (crime, economy, the border) that resonate with Texans. Beto basically ran on abortion and taking away guns.
In context Bozo was talking about other people calling him an extremist. What the actual hell? One, is he talking about himself? If so, maybe he just is having a hard time admitting he is in fact an extremist?
Oh yeah, he was pushing that crap, too. Good thing all the surgeries, hormones and puberty blockers being pushed on confused kids will be made illegal early next year in Texas. The state GOP has that as one of its top priorities. And trans kids rights
Yeah, I deduced that, but it does almost sound like he can't get the words out of his... oh wait, nothing new.In context Bozo was talking about other people calling him an extremist.
Just heard that clip on the radio.
Throwing the cultural preference bullshit (namely a national abortion ban) to the side would be a good idea also. Leaving it with states, whatever, but nobody really wants a national ban except these John Birch, Federalist Society ivory tower types.
As much as I abhor abortion, I have to agree here, and I have said it before.I agree, for the same reason Roe v. Wade was inappropriate a national ban is inappropriate. Let the fucking states decide. The Federal Government shouldn't have hands in things they have no business having their hands in.
Graham was a stupid fuck for suggesting such a thing. He only motivated the choicers even more.I don't think a national ban was ever realistic anyway. That was more scaremongering.
