DCC Appreciation Thread...

I thought Geng and I were the only ones who hadn't seen the movies everyone else had seen. :shrug
Hey, I didn't have my own TV until I was 18. Don't judge me.

No Gymkata? You're missing out my friend.
Even I've seen that one. I think.

Well maybe not. Van Damme, right? All his movies run together. Kickboxer is kind of a classic, though.

And @Iamtdg , I didn't have my own TV in my room until I was 17 or 18, either.

At least I was close? :unsure

I never had a TV when I lived with my parents. I bought my first TV after I moved out.

If you haven't seen the movie it definitely wouldn't make any sense.

But you've never seen the original Superman from the 70s? It's a classic. Best part is young Clark at football practice. (The end was still stupid though.)
Hes a sheltered man.

And I thought I was restricted in my conservative Christian upbringing.

not familiar with gymkata

Van Damme had 3-5 good to great movies and then put out a ton of mediocre stuff.

And I thought I was restricted in my conservative Christian upbringing.
More of a money thing than a religious thing.

Envisioning the first experience.

“Im here to return this broken television. Only three of the channels work.”

“Sir, you have to pay for cable service, too”

“This is a racket and I’m going to expose you. Prepare to to see the name Montgomery Ward on a billboard near you”

Television tech has come a long way. The fucking knobs and ears. The jerryrigging.

Used to make my sister stand next to the TV, which seemed to work, but now she couldn’t see. Found out our bodies were mostly water, so then we’d fill a pail of water and put it next to TV. Never did the aluminum foil on the ears

Was it the same pail you made rice in? :unsure
