2022 NFL Cuts & Signings

Males sense for the 49ers. Tough as a Super Bowl contender to put all their eggs in Lance. Hoping Lance has a horrific September.

49ers do a good job not getting salary cap constrained by their QBs going back to Alex Smith

He was really bad.

I mean he did start 17 games for them last year. But I also recognize that even though he was a first round pick he was a first round reach that shouldn't have gone that high. Was more of a second round prospect who the Raiders reached for like they have many players.

Mayock was really weird because he generally did well in the mid/late rounds but was just a complete mess early on. It kind of speaks to too much hubris and completely disregarding general consensus, which is fine to a point, but not when you're taking Clelin fucking Ferrell over Josh Allen (Jags), Devin White and Ed Oliver, all of whom will probably end up making multiple Pro Bowls.

Crosby is a certified stud obviously, Renfrow is one of the better slots in the league, Bryan Edwards looks like a guy who will have a long career as a good number 3, and Moehrig/Hobbs both look like guys who will start for several years in the league with Moehrig potentially being a high-level starter.

But when you bust on 6 straight 1st rounders, many of whom were known reaches at the time, well...there's always TV.
