2022 Cowboys Preseason Week 1 Gameday Chatter Thread | Cowboys @ Broncos | 08/13/22

This is rough. Cooper Rush doesn’t look like an NFL quarterback. Josh Ball is terrible. Bad penalties. Not much to be impressed with in the first half.

They cannot go into the season with the plan being to move Smith around like a chess piece.

That is not how OLs should work.

Smith hasn’t looked bad outside of the couple holding calls, which everyone knew was a problem. Need to clean that up and leave him at guard all year. We should have invested in another swing tackle or kept Collins.

The penalties make the NFL unwatchable. Especially when it's preseason and they are already amped up calling penalties only on the Cowboys.

Yep, he obviously needs all the reps at G he can get before the season starts. He's too talented to not play. Moving him around will just confuse him and delay his getting in there.

We earned most of them after the Smith play.

Joseph just cost us three points.

At least McCarthy looked and sounded really pissed at halftime.

It's hard to tell with preseason because there is almost no replays of the penalties. But it's one thing to watch a game and just be beat. But watching a penalty fest is unwatchable.

Can someone please tell me who this broad on NFLN is?

Her voice is very annoying. And her hair is gross.

I'll never understand how the NFL doesn't get that fans don't want to watch a bunch of flags all night. It should be so easy to see.

Rush and Wright have been awful. Other than that it's mostly just been penalty after penalty after penalty on us.

Brett Rypien, eh?

Mark Rypien relation.

That caveman was truly a wonder. Had zero natural talent but Half-A-Fag Gibbs made it work.
