I hate this about players. Team designs and offense around you. Helps set you up for massive success and a pay day. And then throw a fit before the contract is up that you want to be paid.
And eliminating any trace of your current team from Facebook or the Gram is beyond played out. I guess that's the modern way of pouting.

Most childish shit I have ever seen.

Like why can't a dude just approach the team, say I'd like an extension and I'll do it at a bit of a discount for doing it earlier. It's that simple.
Because "unfollowing" the team makes a statement. Or some such shit.

Don’t even bother to dream.

Yeah because we have already made it clear we won't pay a WR 20 mil. We sure as shit won't trade for a guy who is going to want 30 mil a year.

You got any WRs we could trade for that have under 10 mil a year on their contract? Or an old guy on the final year of his deal? That's who we would target.

Any time I've ever run out of gas, I've found that you can usually find it walking in the middle of the road with your arms waving aimlessly.

I look forward to the toxicology report. Or maybe he was a garden variety dummy.

A studio job seems more short-term to me than the announcer/color commentary jobs considering the ridiculous salaries being thrown around for those. The "2023 Payton to Dallas" bus seems to be right on schedule.

I'd give up our 1 for him but nothing else. I don't want an offense built around WR's and the passing game, and we'd likely have to turn around and give him 25/year or so.

The money would prevent me from doing that. If I'm giving up a first, I want a guy on the cheap for the next 4 or 5 years. I don't want a dude who we will have to turn around and pay right away to justify it. And then a few years later cut/trade because the money is just too much.

That is why WRs in the draft might get pushed into the first. That fourth years, cheap with the potential for a fifth season.

Yep, so be prepared for it. I could see the Chiefs going weird at WR though. There will be receivers go that we will all think went 3 rounds too early. And the Packers don't draft receivers in the first, so even with a shit WR room, they may wait.
