Seems like we haven't talked about him much lately, but I still wish they could find a way to get Winfrey.

But with the obvious needs at OL and LB and maybe even WR, I don't see how it happens.

If it were up to me I'd have absolutely no issue waiting until the 3rd for a WR. I'd actively avoid it in the 1st and in the 2nd there would have to be a clear value (i.e. Dotson) or I could maybe be talked into a Watson or Moore.

But not over someone like Winfrey or Ebiketie.

I'd be thrilled if we went Zion/Winfrey in the first 2 rounds, and then leave a WR to the 3rd/4th. It's not ideal but I'd rather build the trenches first.

I don't know, I think that would be pretty close to ideal for me.

I would 100% be with you if we let Gallup walk and kept Cooper. But I just don't agree because of our self inflicted wound dumping Cooper. We look awful at WR to start the season. We have Lamb and a couple guys who might not even make other teams rosters to start the season.

I'm ok not taking a first round WR but I also would be happy with a first WR because I've got trenches guys I'd love in the second, third and beyond.

Frankly I'd get myself a veteran LG now and alleviate forcing one in the first but apparently the team disagrees.

Yea I get it, and don't disagree because the WR group without Gallup is horrendous, but ultimately I want to build the OL/front 7 out first if the prospects on the board are generally even.

I've said before that the WR won't matter if we can't protect Dak so to some degree I agree. It sucks that our only means to getting starting Olineman appears to be in the first round of the draft but I guess when your second and third rounders fail and you refuse to do anything in free agency that's what you're left with.

But even with a stellar rookie LG I think the offense is going tobsuck if your WRs are Lamb, Washington and Brown. I mean that's embarrassingly bad. But there is still time to flip a fifth for a veteran Olineman or WR on another team if you have to. So I'm not panicking yet.

But if the plan is to draft David Bell in the third and pair him with Washington and Lamb to start the season I'd say that's still pretty much shit.

Even with Gallup and Lamb I think that's pretty weak, especially considering Gallup is just coming directly off being playable. I don't think you can count on 100% burst from him come week 4 of the season.

Hate to be a broken record but I'd feel so much better about the WRs if we'd kept Wilson. He had good chemistry with Dak and I still think he had more room to improve as a pro. Losing just our #1 wouldn't be great, but losing two of our top four seems like a big hole to climb out of.

Who needs WRs when your have Zeke? 3 yards and a cloud of dust.

Hate to be a broken leg record but I’d feel so much better about the WRs if that dolt Goof Son had just pulled the lever and kept Amari.

He is a warrior, we couldn't take him off the field!

Getting his ass handed to him every game, but there just ain't no quit in him!

Okay, this is no longer amusing.
And uh, if you'd have seen the impact he had on our Salvation Army fundraiser when he lept in the kettle....teethy grin....boy, I'd like to have me 22 Zekes, I tell ya!
