If by some miracle not, then the 2nd.

Unless they are fools and think that a starting duo of Lamb, half a Gallup/Washington and can just be supplemented by a late round choice.

Yeah I mean I'd guarantee first three rounds at least. The problem is now that the Chiefs and Packers have created massive holes at WR there may be more WRs going early now.

And I love Olave. He isn't thick like Cooper but he is a great route runner like Cooper. He makes the tough catches like Gallup and he has deep speed. I very much like Olave. My only concern is he is a bit skinny and could struggle with the press and get knocked off routes. But the NFL rules favor his types now.

Fat Mike was at the Ole Miss Pro Day.

It wasn't to see their QB.

And BTW, he has OTF issues, could be a Jerry's Kid.

"Mister Jones" told him so.

If the best value in the 1st is WR, then why not take it?

There isn’t a single position outside of STs we couldn’t stand to upgrade in the first except maybe fullback.

Love Williams, he has legit juice off the edge.

Yeah haven't watched him but I guess I should. Good size, speed and sack production. Kind of what you want in a DE prospect. I guess he sucks against the run but the guy can't be perfect. We have DEs who can do that.

Sounds like a dude we have serious interest in. Wonder what round he will go. I'm guessing second/third area.

He has character issues like your next Jerry's Special Kid but apparently having a kid has changed him:

Williams has not had a straightforward path on the football field — he’s a likely high selection in the 2022 NFL Draft pick who only played one full year of high school football because basketball was his love — or off it.

Williams has had missteps. He was expelled from his first high school, and he was suspended from the Ole Miss football program in the summer of 2020 after an arrest for felony sexual battery. While the charges were ultimately dropped, negative perceptions of his character still lingered.

I am thinking his ceiling is the 3rd round, floor 4th round.

Makes sense why Dan Quinn would want to take the time to go meet him in person. Hard to ignore 12.5 sacks, 6'4" 260 pounds and running a 4.46. Those are first rounder type numbers.

Moore checking out their offense and Fassel checking out the ST schlubs.

They have a lot of talent. Alec Pierce is my guy off that squad. But they boast a lot of talent on offense and defense. I also think Ridder is more well liked than a lot of us realize. He is an excellent athlete and has very good size for QB.

Agreed on the 3rd/4th, the 2nd would be a reach but anytime after is fine.

The more I see of the guy the more I think he would be an excellent player. I don't know about the character stuff. If you can clear him on that side I think he would even pay off in the second round.

God help me if we use a pick in the second round on a TE. This class isn't good enough to justify it and I'll be damned if I go back to the days of the TWO TE OFFENSE take another in the second round bullshit. Good for you Woods, I'll start looking if you're there in the fourth or fifth.
Wait until they draft one no later than the third round.

Never heard of him. I bet he has long arms.

I know we haven't done it in a long time but I still have nightmares over the second round TE fetish we went through for awhile there. And every time we would hear about how this time it will be different. I know some will disagree but there is no TE in this draft I'd feel ok about taking in the second round.
