I attribute the relative lack of drop off from Gregory to Armstrong as both needing to be part of a rotation.

I think Gregory was better overall, but not by much (exactly two hurries and one sack) and not consistently especially down the stretch when we needed him most.

I expect Armstrong, Fowler, and some kids to rotate and the production will be similar and cost is much much less.

The 340 pound guy in the middle who can move, Jordan Davis, I’d consider trading quite a bit to get him.

That anchor keys everything. Better run defense, pass defense, and physicality. The ends are dressing on that main course.

Id sign off on Matthieu and Wagner.

High character, play hard players that would still be a net positive on field and in locker room, even if they are past prime

I’m sure they’d do wonders for Parsons, Diggs and other young players.

Demarcus Lawrence just screams to me ‘shut up, do what’s asked of you and nothing more and cash your paycheck’

Wagner not signed by any other suitors seems odd. According to established norms, we should be out of the running for him already.

There are two types left in free agency. Those that have no interest and those that over priced their market and teams went a different direction. Most of the talented guys probably asked for more than teams are willing to pay and now will have to either reduce their price or wait for a team to get desperate. Most players in that category are ones that have made good money in the NFL and can afford to roll the dice a little and be patient. Dudes like Wagner, Honey Badger, and even Clowney are just going to sit on their price because they know they will have a job coming at the start of the season.

Me too and I love Honey Badger. I've always been a big fan. But give me Kearse back and Wagner or pass rusher. I'd roll the dice on some oldies too if I have to. Zadarius Smith is still at the top of my list. And supposedly the Packers have said they have zero concerns about the back. But I wouldn't bitch at an Ingram, Akiem Hicks, or something like that.
