Just say no to a WR/CB in the 1st.
Muma would be money in the 2nd, but give me an OL/DL/LB/S at 24, there is almost no scenario where there isn't an available worthy player at one of those positions.
Not a fan of the Burks pick.
I don't even hate WR as much as you but not Burks. He just isn't polished enough to replace Cooper. We don't need a gadget guy. My comp would be Dez Bryant and I don't think that type of WR is a good fit with Dak. Dak needs an Olave type who can run perfect routes and get separation.
I'm kind of the opposite, I like Burks a lot but I hate going WR in the 1st. With Dak the last kind of guy I want is a jump-ball/back shoulder type, someone like London, because Dak wants to see guys open before he throws.
Burks is like that to some extent but he's also very impressive after the catch and can take schemed up short throws and pop them for 20-30 more, and that makes sense to me with Dak.
But I don't want any WR's in the 1st.

Mocks are still a little all over the place. PFN, PFF, and Draft Network need to update their rankings. NFLmockdraftdatabase was the closest.
1st Kenyon Green
2nd Trey Mcbride
3rd Leo Chenal - I really don't think he makes it here but I wouldn't pass him up.
The others pretty much fell where i thought. This is more what I think they will do not what I would have. Personally, I would have taken
Devonte Wyatt in the first, Travis Jones or Skyy Moore in the second, Chenal is one of the players I really want. I really do think the team will force an all offense draft other than an LB or late round pet cats
I agree. I would go nuts if we got Jordan Davis or Wyatt in the first with Chenal in the second, but I think the brain trust will go offense even if it means lesser players. I am hoping Quinn keeps his opinion in the conversation.Chenal has grown on me. A bad ass run stopper who is a stupid good athlete too. Unfortunately I think he goes second round now.

He’s like that fat ass from Kentucky last year (NT Quinton Bohanna),” said a third scout. “He (Bohanna) actually did pretty good (for Dallas). Davis plays a little bit harder (than Bohanna
Fake addition?
After reading that again I thought the same, but no, here it is.
Bob McGinn with the crusty scouts evals are now behind a paywall, but here is an interesting one on Jordan Davis.
Bullshit, but interesting.
Jordan Davis, Georgia (6-6 ½, 341): Those scouts that expected him to post “freaky” testing numbers were right. His combine included a 4.78 40, a vertical of 32 and a broad jump of 10-3. “He’s a pretty upper-end athlete,” said one scout. “He’s a 3-4 nose tackle only. He’ll go second round.” Weighed 360 in mid-March 2021. Was 370 at one point during his career in Athens. Weight woes are more about his diet than any unwillingness to work. “I wouldn’t want him in the first,” a second scout said. “But if you want a guy that just two gaps and totally controls things, this guy, they don’t move him at all. He grabs the guard or center, or both of them, and tosses them off to the side. But I’ve seen him jump into the A gap and make plays. Looks like he can run, too. And he does have power pass-rush ability.” Finished with 7 sacks in a four-year career. “He’s like that fat ass from Kentucky last year (NT Quinton Bohanna),” said a third scout. “He (Bohanna) actually did pretty good (for Dallas). Davis plays a little bit harder (than Bohanna). He probably goes second round but somebody may stretch it.” If not for his mother’s insistence that he remain in school and graduate, he would have been in the 2021 draft. “He’s got the story and everybody loves him, but I just don’t know what you do with him in the modern game,” a fourth scout said. “He plays 10 games a game. He gets in and then you don’t see him anymore. He’s not in on pass downs. He’s a giant, but he has a very, very limited skill set. He can kick ass right in front of his face. He ain’t going nowhere else. He’s not going tackle to tackle or guard to guard. He’s going center to one guard for five plays a game. If you think there’s some value in that as a first-rounder, sure, take him.” Arms were 34, hands were a huge 10 ¾.
