I still don't really like the ultra-aggressiveness on 4th down, the margins are so thin (either of those Gallup completions yesterday were basically 50/50) and in those situations Prescott seems to have a habit of ignoring an open running lane for an easy 1st to take a shot downfield.

He's going to have to be more judicious with that in tighter games against better teams.
I've noticed that, too. Yeah, chunk plays are nice. But it's 4th down, dude. Take the sure thing, and let's live to play another set of downs.

It'd be really nice if we could find a way to keep Gallup along with Gregory and Schultz. A few weeks ago I was thinking we might need to give Schultz ~12/year and Gregory ~15/year but with Gregory's injury and Gallup coming back we might be able to get them a bit lower if their stats are depressed.

Gallup isn't going to end up with a huge statistical year either, so if we could get both him and Schultz for roughly 9-10/year each, and Gregory for maybe 13-14/year, I think that's doable.

Yea I mean it's one thing in the 1st quarter in November against a 4-4 team but if he does that late in the 3rd against the Rams in the divisional round or some such, it's going to be an issue.

No offense to Steele, but Atlanta has no pass rushers of note.

Pretty clear the difference in the game yesterday was one team had Dorance Armstrong and the other did not.

This is why I'm not in any huge rush to replace Biadasz, certainly not during the season, but even in the offseason I wouldn't force a pick on a center unless some Lamb-type situation happens where a guy drops in our lap and we just can't pass him up.

Like yea, he got rocked up by Vea and Hargrave and guys who are basically Pro Bowl DT's, but he's also part of an OL that has seen a bunch of turnover with Collins missing several games, Tyron now missing several and Martin being out the opener, but we still have one of the most dynamic offenses in the league, including one of the best run games.

He's not Frederick and might not ever make a Pro Bowl, but he's a solid starter, and definitely good value for being a late 4th.

We all need to eat crow on Fassel, I definitely didn't (and still don't for the most part) think that the risk of blocking a punt and roughing the kicker is worth the very rare reward of a blocked punt, but 3 blocked punts in 9 games speaks for itself.
Was thinking almost this exact thing earlier. These blocked punts are simply amazing. Is he some kind of wizard? On these blocks, it doesn't look like anything elaborate is going on, but guys are getting relatively direct openings to the punter. It's awesome.

I'm even geeked about Anger. It's so cool having a top punter again who can really boom it and flip the field.

Bones is one magnificent goofy bastard.

They run stunts on punt block attempts, as well.

Nashon getting in on the action.
