I dont buy PFF grading but yeah he has had some tough ones. Still work to be done despite the interceptions.
Yep. That’s the only saving grace for this young core of players-Jerry is simply too old to wield the kind of bad influence he did in the dismal years of the franchise. Goof Son isn’t going to be much better, but he’s still not as bad as Jerry.Jerry was such a bad GM for such a long time. What a mess he made of things. IMO, he has no business in the Hall of Fame (despite his consequential business contributions to the league). His abysmal performance as GM should have disqualified him. He condemned the league's marquee franchise to multiple decades of failure.
I don't need for him to die in jail or something. If he joyfully raises another Super Bowl trophy, that's o.k., but it wouldn't make up for him subjecting the fan base to so many years of mediocrity.
It turns out that the only real fix for Jerry was aging. He's now so old that he defers to more capable, clear-headed people.
It isn't that Jerry got smart. It's that he got too old to cause as much harm.
Bingo. He didn't play against Minnesota and we shut down one of the best backs in the league. We just didn't have any juice yesterday, Denver wanted it way more, pure and simple.
I imagine Bones likes the guy he had in camp over Maher. If they bring Maher back they deserve to lose every game the rest of the season.
Stats can be bent any way you want to bend them.Seems weird but very out of context. I'd bet we do the bulk of our short yardage runs behind RG, which would go a long way to explaining the YPC there.
It also is yet another reason why you can't trust YPC and it's a garbage stat.
I always loved watching him and Herschel Walker run. It just looked so effortless. They didn't even look like they were running hard, but would just pull away from people with crazy speed.Loved how could suddenly burst out of his cuts and accelerate.
