Well when you work all day and have to work the next day it takes some of the joy out of it. At least with Thanksgiving you're sitting around enjoying food all day long and don't have to worry about work the next day. Instead I have to work, pick kids up from school/daycare, figure out dinner all while trying to be glued to a TV. Just not nearly as enjoyable. Something that you don't face on a Sunday. Monday night football while having similar problems just has a different feel to it.
