Dane Brugler's Guide is out

Billy McCrary

PROSPECT SUMMARY - CORDELL VOLSON
6'6" 315lbs

Cordell Volson demonstrates some athleticism while in his pass set and typically plays with good body control. In the running game, he is a nasty, mean finisher. He plays hard from snap to whistle and seemingly wants to end the rep with a knockdown. At this stage, his run blocking is ahead of his pass set. In the passing game, he plays with good latch strength in his hands. He doesn’t have great lateral movement, which will keep him as a right tackle only, but he could develop into an NFL starter with pro coaching.
Ideal Role: Your third tackle with the upside to develop into a starter.

Scheme Fit: Zone blocking scheme.
------
I wouldn't mind taking a late round flyer on this guy. Or bring him in as a priority UDFA if he makes it that far. He is a mauler in the run game.

I appreciate Brugler's work overall, but this is kind of sloppy.

Jesus Christ, how many prospects does he have to profile?

It is simple. Know who to profile and you don't waste time on guys who won't even be in this draft.

Sorry, that's sloppy work. Even I knew this kid was not in the draft.

You do realize that this isn't a Brugler profile, right? Different website.

Oh.

So it is NoDick being an idiot?

I haven't even opened this up.

My apologies to Dane.

But he has had mistakes before.

All the draftniks do it. Especially the big ones like Kiper and McShay.

I didn't say it was Brugler's report, doucher. I only posted a report on him since Brugler DIDN'T have one, and we were talking about him.

Why would he include a report on him when he's not in this draft?

The article was written before the player let it be known he was going to play college ball at the march 1 deadline.

I think the point is Uber fan Nodak should have known his guy wasn't in the draft. +1 for Brugler.

I heard a couple weeks or so ago he was thinking about going back to school. Hadn’t checked if he had or not.
