2020 Season | Divisional Round Weekend | Gameday Chatter Thread | 1/16/2021-1/17/2021

The line splits the Rams are running on D really don't make sense.

It is like they don't understand what the Packers do.

Rams defended that perfectly but Rodgers was able to ad lib himself into a score.

McVay has got his work cut out for him in the 2nd half. They need a score before halftime. At a minimum they need to pick up a couple of first downs so Aaron Rodgers doesn't get the ball back before half.

Staley has done a good job as DC, but if I am one of those teams wanting to interview him for HC (i.e. Eagles), I would probably say...eh, we are going to cancel the interview kthxbai.

Goff must not be healthy enough to run the entire playbook. I haven't seen many of those stretch plays and play-action passes that the Rams are well-known for.

They haven't come close to getting the Packers off the field. And the Packers really haven't run anything exotic.

I am still very impressed that old ass Andrew Whitworth powered through an early season knee injury and is now starting.

That said, it is weird that the Packers have not challenged him at all...no additional blitzers that make him have to defend more ground. They rush just one guy.

That is what exactly the Rams needed to do.

They scored a TD but that didn't even look like the same Rams offense that I watched most of the year. They had Goff just sitting in the pocket. No motion or jets sweeps with Woods. No stretch plays, misdirection, etc.

Seems like they are definitely limiting what Goff's doing with that bad thumb.

That Bud Light throwback ad... when ads were just funny without trying to preach at you and/or make you cry.

That was perfect. They ate up clock and finished with the score to cut it to a one possession game. McVay's finally figuring some things out on offense, just need to get the defense to actually show up in the 2nd half.

I'd start by having the corners press cover more. Make Rodgers make the tough throws deep down field instead of giving up the cheap stuff underneath.

We needed one of those close ups of Rodgers facial expression after that big play.

My god... as a cornerback you live for those moments... and then you drop the ball.

Definitely should have been DPI. Refs refuse to enforce PI penalties equally.

Hill definitely should have had the INT on 2nd down.

On 3rd down Johnson was interfered with. The WR grabbed and pulled his right arm when he was trying to grab the ball.

29 seconds and they give up points before the half. inexcusable.

DEAD POETS SOCIETY!!!!
