Give Carter his snaps. Just fucking stop with Crawford period.
Or just give him Hamilton's work. Kid flashed like two plays and has disappeared since.

They need to run every damn DT they can get their hands on from now until the end of the year. We need to stock up since the draft is shit at the position next year.

Any word on if they plan to give Anae any snaps anytime soon?

can Carter play inside? Thought he was more edge.

Becton although I think Becton vs. Wirfs vs. Wills is a tossup at best, they've all been really solid.

Translation: ima backup the truck for Aldon, despite his age.

I think Jerry has this love for guys who are troubled and he thinks he has brought out of the trouble. I'm guessing Jerry just wants to keep helping the guy. I doubt we back up the brinks truck considering he is probably our third DE right now. I think Gregory and Lawrence are a better pair as starters.

I think at a minimum they have to bring in 2 more LBs. Sean Lee's contract is up this year and aside from him I think they have to plan for the contingency of LVE getting hurt again.

In an ideal situation LVE remains healthy and one of the newcomers supplants Jaylon Smith as the starter. At this point, I just don't see any strengths in Jaylon's game. He's slow to read and react and he doesn't look nearly as athletic or fast as he once did. Seems like it's a constant struggle for Jaylon to outrace his man to the edge.

He had a few nice plays of that nature back in 2018.....most notably near the goal line against the Texans. But now it seems like any and everybody beats his ass to the edge for extra yardage.

Yeah....he was a nice flyer on an attempt to rehab a blue chip player and it was cool to watch him come back and try to make a go at it, but he’s not smooth and dynamic like he was was pre injury.
A good GM sucks it up, says he thought Jaylon would be able to keep improving and that’s why he got his deal but the play hasn’t equaled the deal. That’s not Jerruh though. And that’s why his team continues to underperform despite its talented roster year after year.
