Do any of his catches not go for 1st down? This guy is a stellar 3rd WR.
He had one catch near the end of the Rams game that was short of the sticks, but outside of that one, I can't think of any.Do any of his catches not go for 1st down? This guy is a stellar 3rd WR.

There's just so much that is refreshing about that statement with the #1 thing for me being accountability.
Garrett never ever ever took the blame for anything. He never took it on himself or even as a staff. Every single time there was an obvious fuck up on his/their part, he'd let off one of his patented -- "We try to look at all of the blah blah blah...." with we meaning the team type of responses. As if it was collective failure when in fact it was not.
So McCarthy has already done in just 2 weeks what Garrett never did in 10 years -- shoulder the blame for an issue.
But what's even better is that they both identified the problem after just 2 games and that they aren't arrogant to the point that they won't address it like our old staff.
Even when it was clear something wasn't working, they either didn't recognize it or were so damn arrogant about it.....like it couldn't be them so they kept insisting on the players just working through whatever the issue was.
Have fun with Garrett, New York.
He's probably going to surpass both Cooper and Gallup as our best WR at some point next season, so yes I'd say he is a stellar number 3.
Let's hope so but he sure is a slender receiver. I worry about him taking big hits. Can't believe he's 200 lbs...
Reading between the lines here, it does not scream confidence they are getting Smith and/or Collins back full speed any time soon.

Well, he did get paid, so...What in the fuck is the issue with Collins?
It's been basically 2 months now that he hasn't done shit, either he has something way more serious that the staff doesn't want to acknowledge publicly or he's just lazy as fuck.
He was in a wreck heading in to practice one morning, too, right?
Yeah, I know that is going to sound like one of those bullshit things. But one of his relatives oddly enough lives up here in Missouri. When he mentioned knowing him, I said how I wish he was able to play right now and he mentioned the car accident like it was the reason he isn't playing and made it sound serious. I wonder if there is something with that accident that we don't know about.

Thanks, Hos
