Brandon Carr is already studying the playbook in a bid to be ready to play Sunday. He said his experience should help him pick things up quickly. As far as playing safety, he said, “what I like most about it is I get the opportunity to have a different impact on the game as far as just using my film study, be able to talk across the board as opposed to corner. I enjoyed it, just being on the island and having a man-on-man type of mentality. But now it’s moreso just trying to be afield general.”

Between Carr being moved to the 53-man roster, and Lee and Collins returning, to say nothing of what I feel is still a possible Earl Thomas signing, this team 's roster will continue to be in flux for some time.

Would be interested to see Garrett's record with a halftime lead and when scoring first.

I was bored at work and decided to see what it looked like. I used full year 2010, not starting at game 10 when Garrett took over, so it's a little off. Also doesn't include playoffs for either Garrett or McCarthy. I don't think there's enough playoff games for the Cowboys to matter all that much.
