One of the bright spots of having this virtual draft is that this year's draft should be 100% focused on the players and player highlights.

No animals announcing picks. No contest winners. No former players.

Just a nice clean broadcast like the good old days.

Just wish, at least for one year, we could go back to just Saturday and Sunday.

I think that's very true for cornerbacks. After Okudah and Henderson, I think there are a bunch lumped together than one team may like more than another. I think a bunch of those guys will fly off the board in rounds 2 and 3.

I agree about the bunch lumped that talent-wise, should go in 2-3. I bet they get way overdrafted into mid/bottom 1 and the top of 2, which is going to start a panic run.
 
The WNBA draft is going on now on ESPN and it's playing out pretty much as expected. Which is good for those of us fed up with the circus-like atmosphere that Goodell has created with the NFL Draft.

ESPN has a couple of their top analysts in the studio with other on-air talent like Holly Rowe linked in from their home offices. The top players either have a small ESPN crew at their homes or will be conferencing in on their own. And there's a decent amount of highlights being shown.

It's actually pretty smooth so far.

The only thing missing is the loud crowd cheers and music that you'd normally hear after the pick is announced. Other than that I'd take the NFL doing something like this 10 times out of 10 compared to what they've been doing the past 5 years.

No way this team can use another premium pick on another pure linebacker. Not that the player isn't good, but that they'll never get return on the investments.
 
The fact that the Jones are saying no first round LBer makes me more sure that we need just that.
