Homer or not, it has come out that Dana wanted to come to Lubbock but didn’t even get an interview.

I like Dana a lot but I don’t think he is a world beater by any stretch. He is basically Leach light which I why you had a small group of boosters who wanted him bad and a larger group who was really against it. He had several run ins while he was a coach at Tech before. His hard partying ways was not what Kirby wanted. Look at the baseball and basketball coaches for the model that the AD is shooting for.

On on day one of the search I posted a list of 4 coaches that were at the top of Kirby’s list. Matt Wells was on that initial list. Once there was an extensive interview Kirby wanted him. Dana was ready to make a deal to get out of WVU but he was shot down. That’s exactly what happened.

Ous AD is a really smart guy and I believe he is one of the best out there. I don’t really understand the decision but he had his target and he got him. So there ya go on that.

You are wrong and what you’re saying is basically a belief that has nothing other than it is what you believe. That’s a pretty dumb way to argue a point when you’re so disconnected with the facts.

Sometimes you're blinded by your fandom. It's natural we all do it. Especially when we love our team as much as you love Texas Tech.

And you're right, I don't really care about Tech. They are inconsequential to me. They are a mid to lower tier Big 12 program. Just funny sometimes reading you all's high opinion of them.

It must be tough having to stick up for what is righteous and just against a couple of fans from a random team.

Arguing about if a team is a mid level or lowest mid level team is truly a commendable cause.

That was a bit of a cheap shot by that UCF player.
 
Cheering for UCF over LSU is easy to do.

My my struggle right now is with the UT/Georgia game. I suppose I hate UT more than I hate the snot nosed SEC fans.
