I just can't see how he is not guilty of anything...I guess the prosecutors just must have been all in on a murder charge.

And since the jury was instructed that they could return a guilty conviction of either Murder 2 or Manslaughter, I was assuming you meant that.

What would you have liked him to be guilty of? Something he wasn't charged with?

Well since post #209 I don't see you asking what he could have possibly been charged with.

But what was he charged with? Murder. And then a last minute jury instruction that they could also find him guilty of manslaughter even though he was not charged with it.

The manslaughter charge makes no sense as I already rightly explained.

The murder charge is beaten by a successful showing of self-defense, which he clearly established (actually, the manslaughter charge is too).

What else could he have been charged with that he wasn't charged with? I dunno. If it was PA, I'd say something like Harassment? It carries a fine or probation, maybe, for a first time offender. I could buy that.

Dude I came on here to discuss the aftermath....I had no ax to grind nor did instomp my feet about the verdict. Then you roll in and actn like the pompous douche that you are. The discussion I was having had nothing at all to do with you or anything that you said, but you answer it like every postn s somehow meant for you. You are not that damned important.

I had an answer to your question, I'm allowed to share it. This is a hotly debated subject so I get excited about it. I wasn't trying to put you down personally... somehow, you always manage to turn it around on everyone else though.

Well in this case I do have a little bit of knowledge about the subject. How would you have liked me to say that there is no legitimate case to be made for manslaughter?

Bottom line is they had no chance of getting murder 2 according to what is needed to convict. You have wonder if they had just started out at manslaughter if they would have gotten a plea agreement instead ofnthe trial going to a verdict.
