How do you justify having nearly 20 offensive snaps without Lamb on the field and over 30 without Pickens?

Because he doesnt have to worry about getting fired.

He's done that in multiple games too. I can't recall exactly which one, but super tight formation, and a pass to Ferg for nothing. Literally no chance and no variability away from the starting formation. Stupid ass playcalling.

Yeah, Schotty just is not a good player caller.

I think he's a fine playcaller, I just don't think he can handle doing that plus being a HC, and what you're left with is a worse version of everything because he's overwhelmed and incapable.

All I can say is that I hope our next coach is more defense oriented, I just think it leads to a certain sort of culture and mindset, and we've had offense-first/playcaller type HC's around here for the last 15 years.

Go back and look and you'll see that I said it was going to be disastrous and that we were basically making another Campo/Garrett hire all over again.

No.

The least amount of Cowboys football I've ever watched in any one particular season was 2013 because I felt like it was pointless just the way I would going into next season of Schotty was brought back.

In 2013, I don't think I watched even 8 full games. But if Schotty is brought back next year? I'll watch even less than I did in 2013.

I think he's a fine playcaller

I don't. I think he is a horrific playcaller. He thinks he is smarter than he is. He gets cute when he doesn't have to. His situational awareness is God awful. His grasp on his personnel when calling plays is also terrible. He shouldn't be a HC, but even as an OC he shouldn't be calling plays.
