2026 Season | Week 7 | Gameday Chatter Thread | Cowboys @ Eagles | 10/27/2026

[Cotton]

99 yard td run incoming.

Bold strategy, Cotton.

[Genghis Khan]

Why accept that delay penalty there? Decline that shat

Interesting.

[Cowboysrock55]

That play was brilliant.

And yet I was worried it would be a penalty.

[data]

At the time, Mingo wasn't the worst trade in franchise history, but he continues to make his way up the ranking as he plays more.

The only reason it's not is because the pick wasn't high enough.

[Texas Ace]

Good lord Dak.... Could you have made that any more obvious?

[Cotton]

Troy just now essentially called Schottenheimer a pussy.

[ravidubey]

Fucking awful

Now it’s almost impossible to stop a score on the other end

[Texas Ace]

WTF Schotty??? You're not even gonna try to get that?

You're just going to give the Eagles offense a short field against THIS defense?

[data]

Smart. Put it on the defense.

We forced a Philly timeout!!!

[kidd]

If that was the Eagles, they pick up that 3rd down.

Schotty proves to be a terrible play caller. If you’re running on 3rd, should have run on 2nd.

[ravidubey]

Every 10 yards is huge for this D

[Texas Ace]

I thought Philly released Jaydon Blue? I just saw him standing on the sideline.

[Stars]

Elite playcallers always call a give up run play.

That give-up run was terrible

Just no balls, never has had any.

Elite playcallers always call a give up run play.

Especially when it's not third and 20 or something.

They are jumping the plants, here is an idea, run a fucking sluggo...

[Genghis Khan]

Troy just now essentially called Schottenheimer a pussy.

That was the right thing to do though.

Troy just now essentially called Schottenheimer a pussy.

Because he is.

That's a bad call under any circumstance, but to just give up on third down knowing that you're going to give the Eagles a short field against your awful defense?

It's as a clear and indicator as you need that Schotty just isn't HC material.
