Yep. I gave them a chance. I was hopeful things had turned around with the way they handled the coaching changes. Allowing the HC to pick his DC and then allowing the DC to pick his assistants. Exactly how it should be done. Then in the draft we got exactly what was needed with the draft capital we had. Even added a couple of solid pieces in FA. I had quite a bit of hope going into the season. I even still had hope after week 4. Defense just needs time to develop, I told myself. It'll be fine. Then that abortion of a game happened on Thursday and broke me like so many other seasons before. I really should have my head examined for even thinking things might be different this year. Yet, the bullshit found its way.

I couldn’t agree more. I have nothing to add. Just another season where the best I can muster now is “show me”

It's absolutely true. I feel like a stinker happens sometimes. But it's also the type of game where your opponent is so bad that you should still be able to find a way to win. Sadly we were a Bland INT away from possibly winning the game. Or a fucking Ferg layup from winning it. But at the end of the day that game shouldn't have been close. We just played like utter shit.

This is the problem with puppet coaches.

Football coaches need to be consistent, tough, direct, and stern (almost stubborn).

Yeah Schotty was a terrible hire. We never had a real hiring process. Regardless if it works out or not we need a head coaching hiring process like we just had with Parker. And I get that right now that hire isn't looking great. But I'm at least willing to give that one time. Schotty never had any upside as a coach.
 
This is the kind of game these fools win.

They can't motivate themselves internally because they're not a serious group, but when they get raked over the coals after embarrassing losses they usually come out firing. Add in Green Bay not being great and coming off a big win against a division rival (without their QB obviously) and it's a good set up for a talented group of losers like ours.
 
Let's not forget how bad Dak was against Tampa as well.

It's why he's not special. He'll wow you with PISS MISSILES for a couple of weeks then play like a complete fucking turd against a winless team.

He got hot late but yeah he was not himself. He was missing throws that are usually easy for him. I honestly think the team just took the week off thinking it was an easy win.

If they were a more consistent, well run team, I’d say the start of the schedule was horseshit and they were just mentally and physically exhausted.

But it’s more logical to think they mailed it in. Maybe a little of both.

He’s absolutely fine as a coordinator of the offense, though I think being HC confuses him as a play caller.

Really he needs a demotion back to OC somewhere
