Buccaneers Stuff...

I hate that all it took was a win for me to get excited again.

It's ok to acknowledge that we have a good chance to win the division/make the playoffs, while also knowing in the back of your mind that the same issues (Jerry culture, bullshit HC) will be the reason we fall short.

I've been saying for weeks if we get to 2-2 that we're set up well with the schedule, and I'd argue that we're the favorite to win the division at the moment.

Really felt Smith's absence in Rio. Can't wait to see us pound some teams on the ground with him, Booker, and Williams.

Why in Hell they activated Goodson over Demercado is beyond me, and I'm not happy with our depth there at all.

So Williams is bound to wear down, but at least for a while we can stomp some teams.

I think Goodson looks pretty classicly decent, actually.

I saw one good run for a conversion and otherwise meh. Small sample size I guess, so I can't really complain.

I just think the performance bar should be set very high, especially with our interior OL and Guyton finally playing to his pedigree.

Williams probably will never again be as good as he was the first half of last year. But he's still a nice RB with glimpses of greatness.

But we very much need a complimentary piece that can be more of a good tandem piece and we can lean on from time to time. Unfortunately that probably won't happen this year. It needs to be a priority in the off-season though.

Bass is an elite backup and probably an average to above average starter, held the fort down well and he's not a liability whatsoever, but getting arguably the best OG in football back will be a noticeable difference.

I'm not really sure how you stop our offense now that Guyton seems to be a legitimate starting LT. We have the best receivers in the league, one of the better QB's and maybe the best pair of OG's who will win the interior LOS in the run game.

Ferg bothers me because it looks like he is actively avoiding contact. If it was just effort I could live. But there appears to be effort to not block.
And because we have someone better already...

Unlike RT where Jones is even worse than Steele. Anyone notice who let that FG get blocked?
