2026 Season | Week 1 | Gameday Chatter Thread | Cowboys @ Giants | 09/13/2026

I heard that and thought the same thing. Troy immediately said something about the CBA right after, so I think he realized he shouldn't have said that.

Some people in the comments are saying he said they were in pads 6 out of 7 days (3 days on, 1 day off, 3 days on) which is apparently allowed.

I didn't hear it so I don't know.

Pretty sure Troy said six days in a row, but I guess they're saying Reid said 6 of 7.

Some Chiefs fan said pads three days, shells one, then three more days full pads. I didn't think even that was legal. I didn't know you could do pads more than two days in a row these days. :shrug

thank you Broncos from saving us from ourselves

I am still amazed that Jerry Jones desperately wanted this person.

Yeah I'm not sure what's allowed either.

You can do up to 3 consecutive according to google. With a total maximum of 16 padded practices (In training camp and preseason).

So obviously Chiefs fans are trying to claim it was 6 in 7 days because if they take one day off in between it is ok.

Why do I feel like Schotty probably only had 15 total... His softness bothers me. But it's just not going to happen in Dallas again while Jerry is alive.

To be fair, Nate and some of the non-cheerleaders said this camp was more physical than we've had in a long time.

But yeah, in Dallas, Jerry is always going to put a hard cap on what they can do.

It was a big mistake. I wouldn't call it a turning point though. The defense just needed to come out and get a stop.

Yeah it’s a dumb take as usual from Jerry. If the Defense was playing well and that int was the only difference, sure.

But I saw 4 turning points in a row in the second half, where we didn’t cover a fucking swing pass.

WTF is Bland doing on 3rd and 9 right before the half? He's playing 10 yards off and immediately starts heading for the end zone at the snap. Result: easy completion.
