I think he's a solid veteran backup and McCarthy could probably get a game or two out of him Rush style.

But Howard and Allar feel very redundant and I wouldn't be surprised if they try to trade one of them, particularly Howard.

They are redundant. But Rudolph has peaked at 31 years old as a crappy QB in my book. But sometimes it's like teams are scared to develop two young QBs at once so they feel like they have to have an old guy in that backup group.
