Have you ever heard someone just saying what they know you want to hear? Diggs was literally just repeating back to the GM what he stated in the question. Basically I take nothing from what Diggs said. He was just saying what he thought he needed to in order to appease the GM.

As someone who lives here, though, here's what I don't get.....

I remember when they lost the Oilers and how Houston fans were adamant that they would not give Bud Adams a new stadium and that he and the Oilers could go to hell.

When Houston was finally awarded another NFL team, I remember the sentiment being that it was nice to finally get a football team back and how they were excited that it would be an original one. And yet all I've seen in recent years is more and more of an effort to bring back and recreate as much of the Oilers era as possible.

This is another example of that.
