The Coronavirus Thread...

I am shocked the NY Times actually allowed this to be published.

The thing is, I do mostly agree that athletes should stick to sports. I'm not denying their right to weigh in under the first amendment (protection from government punishment), but sports (and entertainment in general, though Hollywood abandoned that principal decades ago) are supposed to be a distraction from all that, and a coming-together avenue for us. It's not the legality, its the spirit. Lebron James isn't going to make me change my mind about liberal politics, it's just going to make me think he's an even bigger asshole than I already thought he was.

But it's the height of hypocrisy to say that Lebron should be free to say what he wants and Rodgers should shut up. The author nailed it.

If I could wave a magic wand and have my way, they'd all be quiet about politics though.

And this fuck got away with it
I know I'm being naive, but I am still holding out a sliver of hope that at least some justice comes to that man's door. He deserves to suffer immensely for what he did to the American people.

It was worse than fraud. It was voluntary manslaughter bare minimum.

And, this is the glimmer of hope I'm holding onto.
