DCC Appreciation Thread...

Why do you need your fridge to be "smart"?

Examples:

It can tell me when food is about to spoil.

I can view it from my phone at the supermarket and see what I need.

It can alert me when the filter needs to be changed.

I can touch a screen and see inside without opening it.

Also you get a notice when a door is left open.

Those are fair points. My counterpoint is, that exact fridge at Lowes is $3300. How bad do you want your appliances to be smart?

I wouldn't consider that a dumb fridge if it has those features. More like a midwit fridge.
Don't you dare use big words to try and confuse me, pal! I wasn't educated at them big fancy schools.

I think it's slang actually, and I'm a little ashamed of myself for using it but it seemed like the best way to convey what I was trying to say.

I had to look it up. :lol So, really, I was only half-joking about you using words I didn't understand.

It's true.
