I have to say, I've been critical of Schottenheimer being a little goofy, a little too casual, in his PCs but he seems to have cleaned that up pretty well. He's still very chummy with the media, but he seems to be a little more in command this year. More like a head coach and doesn't seem as concerned with these guys liking him.

Update:

ESPN’s Todd Archer reported that Jaishawn Barham left practice early with a groin injury, but a source indicated the Cowboys do not believe it is serious. Barham later returned to the practice field (out of uniform) after going to the locker room.

I think they want to avoid it at all costs, but I could see Guyton forcing their hand if he is the same player as last year.

Of course. He was a first round pick that never should have been but will get some leash.

Now he is in a race to surpass Taco Charlton or his spawn, Mazi Smith.
