"I've been imprisoned by that regime". Self-righteous tuna canoe shrugs at her. I wish we could somehow round up all of the white liberal women in this country and drop them off in the middle of Iran, and while there pick up all of the oppressed Iranian women that have had to live in that situation and bring them back here. Shitty trade for Iran, but great for us.

I’d be down for that.
 
I doubt people with weed or jumping a turnstile are really the ones going to prison. And certainly if they are, then just legalize weed, that's easy. And frankly I'm guessing those turnstiles are government owned and ran. So they are really the ones who get the say in the punishment. This is all just patently false, the people going to prison are the ones committing felonies. Misdemeanor offenses are going to jail, not prison.

In some cities, they don't even bother charging them for those offenses. Weed, turnstile jumping, shoplifting (below a certain amount) aren't worth their time anymore, I guess.

There’s not a single thing about any of their positions that’s well thought out, reasonable, or supported by facts.
