The 70s & 80s Nostalgia Thread...

My grandmother had quite a few of these. After my granddad died in 1980 she stopped cooking at home as much, and ate fast food quite a bit. I remember vividly drinking out of a hamburglar cup often.

Yes, I've been trying to tell you people.

It's always McDonald's. The GOAT.

I'm sure every one on this board can name this movie. :lol

I doubt it, because culture has stagnated.

Each decade from like the 20s to the 90s had very unique culture (well, the thirties and forties kinda ran together cause of the depression and the war). But everything since the 2000s is basically the same here in 2026.

There will always be nostalgia because people will always look back to when they were young. The kids of today may well look back to when they were young and AI didn't rule everything and people had to think for themselves.

Not a fucking chance. No one's meeting up with their best buds and creating memories. No keg parties, no cramming 6 people into a car to smoke a joint before school, no sneaking out your window to go meet friends. They spend a disproportionate amount of time staring at their phones-even on the occasions when they do go out.
