LOL @ the Redskins

From what I understand, they are edging towards Redskins colors and design, but no feathers and American Indian faces.
 
They're doing everything possible to look like the Redskins without calling themselves the Redskins :doh

They put a spear on one of those? The horror!
 


Yeah, maybe one day they will understand their name sucks and goes back. Until then, a spear has no damn relation to a “Commander”.
 
They'll never bring back the old logo or Redskins name. It would be admitting a mistake and they won't do that.

What I think has a better chance, albeit still small, is a rebranding that re-incorporates some of the old imagery, like a spear.

They should have been renamed the Washington Warriors and kept some of the native imagery, albeit different enough that it wasn't the face/head on the old Redskins logo.

Daniel Snyder probably should have been negotiating that back in the day.
