Jesus fucking Christ. Become a tradesman. Speaking of that, I had to have someone come out to look at our house A/C yesterday. A couple of younger guys showed up and my first thought was, I really hope they know what they are doing,, but they really impressed me. I was talking to the "main" guy (seemed like he was a good kid) after he was finished and he was telling me he was only 21. He told me he loved doing A/C and plumbing stuff, much more than sitting in a classroom, he said. We need more of that and less "influencer" degrees.

My son started as an electrical apprentice a few weeks ago. I fully encouraged him to make a career of it.
