Vance did himself no favors with that Joe Rogan interview.
What did he say on there that was wrong, or didn't look good? I don't watch those Rogan things.

I've always said I like Rubio. I don't think there's anything wrong with Vance, but somehow he seems to me a little... unserious or something.

But I guess a lot of younger people like that he's said some negative things about Israel?

Israel, plus he kinda flubbed Epstein. He also canceled a meeting with congressional Republicans last Tuesday, which pissed people off.

This is a frank assessment of the Rogan appearance:

I mean, who knows what to think anymore? Why can't there just be a moderate position that yes, Israel isn't perfect and it's fair to criticize them, but also that Teh Joos aren't the root of all evil?

Or that just because you are against more Forever Wars, that doesn't mean that you never take any military action anywhere.

But then there seem to be plenty of younger conservatives who I guess would agree more with Vance.

I dunno. I just like Rubio's demeanor and the way he handles himself. Seems like people in those comments do too.

Yeah, Rubio would be my choice, too. He doesn't have Trump's swagger, but his give a shit level is right where it needs to be to run this country right now. That's one thing he and Trump have in common.

I don’t think people realize what a complete clusterfuck the Middle East would be if we weren’t supporting Israel. If we withdrew support for them, China and Russia would move in in a millisecond and, holy fuck, that wouldn’t be good

Despite his height and awkward smile, I'm still really high on DeSantis.

He doesn’t take any shit from people, which reminds me of Trump a little, but he is far more eloquent and unflappable. He never struggles to answer anything.

The more I learn about him, the more I like. He had actually just taken office when I was born.
Read up on him from a reputable source. You will be shocked how much you were lied to by the media and others since he was ousted from office. Biggest scapegoat in US Presidential history.

Most likely he was taken down by the deep state just like they've tried to get Trump.

What Obama and Hilary did to Trump with the Russiagate plot was 100x worse than Watergate.

We should have nuclear plants all over the country by now. I don't know if it's because of big oil or what. I just can't figure it out. You guys are smarter than me, so I'm sure guys can tell me why.

From Google:

Why did the US stop building nuclear reactors?
AI Overview

The U.S. slowed and nearly halted building new nuclear power plants primarily due to economics. Massive upfront costs, soaring interest rates in the 1970s, and infamous accidents like Three Mile Island led to cancelled orders. Later attempts, like the Vogtle expansion in Georgia, suffered severe budget overruns and construction delays.
The decline of civilian nuclear expansion in the U.S. traces back to a few intersecting challenges:

Crippling Financial Risks: Nuclear power plants require massive upfront capital, taking years—or even decades—to see a return on investment. According to industry analyses, utilities grew unwilling to shoulder the immense financial risks and ballooning debt associated with these large-scale projects.

The Rise of Cheap Gas: The economic viability of nuclear was dealt a major blow by the shale gas boom. Utilities found it cheaper and faster to build natural gas or renewable energy plants, which reduced electricity prices and squeezed out expensive nuclear construction.

Public Perception & Regulatory Hurdles: Incidents like the Three Mile Island partial meltdown in Pennsylvania and later disasters like Chernobyl and Fukushima created widespread public unease. This led to more stringent and costly safety regulations managed by the Nuclear Regulatory Commission, stretching out build times and adding layers of complexity to new designs.

Complicated Project Management: The U.S. industry historically custom-designed every plant rather than utilizing standardized, assembly-line approaches. This fragmented energy sector, paired with supply chain bottlenecks and contractor bankruptcies, caused projects like Georgia Power's Plant Vogtle to experience significant delays
