Severe Weather Thread...

We had quite a storm roll through last night. Power went out about 7:30p and I finally gave up on it coming back on about 12:30a. I woke up at about 1:30a and it was back on. 80 mph winds did a lot of damage. All I've got though, are just downed branches, thank God.

We had one on fourth of July. Was sitting in my backyard, sunny as ever. Then suddenly the winds went crazy, watched a tree get snapped like a twig behind my yard. Literally only lasted like 10 minutes or less. But it was wicked. Places around the lake here are still without power. There are some crazy pictures of Lake of the Ozarks from it happening. It's crazy how quickly it went from 0-100. My kids literally just got back from the pool and a golf cart ride and had no idea it was coming. A few minutes longer and they would have been out in it.

It was similar here. Hell, my internet is still out. Actually, it may be back on today, I didn't check it before I left for work this morning.
