I downloaded one of those movie apps that allow you to watch whatever you want for free. You have to do it behind an IP blocker though because it's on Firestick.

Another thing, am I the only one who has this pet peeve about why Americans think anyone with a British (or even South African/Australian/New Zealand) accent is automatically more intelligent, more sophisticated, more competent? In TV coverage of sports they play, it's getting to the point that that's the main accent you hear now -- golf, tennis, soccer, whatever else. They aren't smarter or more insightful or any of those things. Wears me out.

It is amazing when you try to go watch older movies. Some are on obscure platforms or not at all.

If you told me as a kid I would have half the access now, I would be all impressed.

But it is pretty clear that what you are able to see is carefully curated and between free and paid.
 


I now can't unknow this.
 
Happiness (1998). Probably the most ironic name for a movie ever. Philip Seymour Hoffman was stellar as usual.
