But he's pretty much getting paid like a tackle now. Maybe not the very best tackles, but he's not that as an OT. Not yet anyway.

I don't get why he wouldn't kill it at LT than and demand to be paid like a top LT. It's kind of weird to me that he wants to stay at the lower paid position.

Agree, except that I think maybe he knows he can be better at G than T.

No, the demented media ecosystem around this team just loves pushing any angle they can find for clicks, the seeds of which were of course fostered by dumbo Jones.

It's really a big part of the reason I think we haven't made an NFCC despite having at least 5 or so teams in the last 20 years fully capable of doing so.

The Green Bay loss in 2023 in particular struck me as one partially fueled by the angst the media helps stoke around the team and the "drought".

I'll believe it when I see it at camp and in the preseason, but there's a reason he was thought of as a possible first rounder coming into the season.

He's talented but he's a tweener who doesn't cleanly fit into a clear position.

Yeah I just have a hard time taking too much from these non contact practices.
