Not really interested in Sweat after adding Lawrence in the draft.

For free if he was an FA? Sure, but I'm not sending out a 3 or whatever when we already have Gary, Ezeiruaku, Lawrence and even Houston.

What we have has potential. Josh Sweat has already realized his potential to the tune of multiple double digit sack seasons including 12 last year.

If you could get him for middle round picks, I think he makes an immediate impact without stopping progress of either Lawrence or EZ.

If you get him, you might have to dump Williams, Land, or similar bottom feeder rusher— not big losses in either case.

Bring in Sweat, and you get immediate production with the kids bringing that production longer term.

At that point, the team is only short a premier CB from an elite defense. It’s already better than anything we’ve fielded in an a very long time. I double-down and go for it right now.
