The Goddamn Chinese Thread…

It sure makes one wonder what their purpose is/was.

According to Grok the main purpose of this one appears to have been to sell falsified covid tests.

What they were doing with the mice and some of the other infectious diseases is still unclear.

Makes perfect sense when you consider how many people "got it" that showed no symptoms.

Amazing how many people in the comments are saying, "This is old news."

Okay, it's from a few months ago. So I guess having a Chinese national run a biolab with Covid and Aids and airlocks in a residential house is no big deal then.

To be fair, the previous lab they found in California was I believe found in 22 or 23. So it's been known for a few years that this had been happening.

I could be wrong but I get the sense that the issue here is more fraud than anything nefarious like spreading diseases. The guy running it has a history of intellectual property violations.

Private citizens should definitely not be running unlicensed biolabs and this seemed like it was pretty sloppy (a lot of the kits and samples were degraded and ineffective), to the point where the workers were getting sick.

These types of mice are apparently commonly used in legitimate biolabs for research purposes. My guess is they were used to test whether the testing kits were effective.

It's definitely not good that these labs were / are operating under the government's noses, but I also get the sense that the poster on X was framing it a little disingenuously.

I believe this was the second one they found, so yeah.

If this is their plan to take us down, I would give it a decent chance of success. How tf are we stupid enough to allow our enemies to mobilize within our own borders? It’s literally (IMO), their only chance at success and we welcome them in and let them set up shop. Fucking ludicrous. If I didn’t know any better, I’d say they ( “they” in the George Carlin definition) WANT it to happen. And that opens up a rabbit hole I don’t even want to go down.

But how far a leap is it for the Chinese government to notice how easy it was to set up these “labs” and understand the potential?

You can damned well rest assured that ain't the only one.

Shit, they are buying land all over the place. It would not be that difficult.
